On 11 February 2026, the Hertfordshire Regional Network Hub welcomed an engaging and informative session for members and supporters. Speakers included Peter Taylor, Mayor of Watford, and Prof Seb Crutch, Director of RDS, who shared their expertise and insights on dementia care and awareness.
Mayor Taylor spoke passionately about his vision for making Watford a fully dementia-friendly town, outlining initiatives across public spaces, services, and community engagement. Prof Crutch delivered a presentation titled “Different diagnoses, different people, different needs,” highlighting both the unique and shared aspects of the seven rare dementias supported by RDS.
