More about Joey and Jason

Joey: Joey’s dad was diagnosed with semantic dementia around six years ago. She says that she makes it her aim to give him “a little bit of joy every day”, and she wanted to make this video so that people in similar positions can learn from the knowledge she and her brother have gained, and wish they had known earlier.

Jason: Jason is a Professor of Neurology at University College London, where he directs a research group studying semantic dementia and other primary progressive aphasias. He is also a consultant neurologist in charge of a specialist cognitive neurology clinic in Queen Square, where he sees people with different forms of rare dementia.
