We are working to increase awareness and understanding about rare dementias among professionals and the public. This will help to ensure communities are better equipped to support all those living with a diagnosis. Here you’ll find learning and training resources that have been informed by, and created with, people with lived experience of different dementias as well as clinicians and researchers.

Courses & interventions

Find out more about our short courses tackling topics for individuals and families in more depth, such as adapting to a diagnosis or our later stage carers course. We also offer a range of products and interventions like our reading aid ReadClear. Or you can join more than 100,000 previous learners by taking part in our free Many Faces of Dementia online learning course.

Resources

Discover more or share information with others about individual dementias or the services we offer. We try to make our resources as accessible as possible, so do check out our ‘conversations with experts’ video series and our short primer videos on different dementia translated into 18 different languages.

Profession-specific advice

These pages create a place for different groups of health and social care professionals to come together and share information and resources which you have found helpful in your practice, and which might help others from a similar background to adapt and enhance their approaches to suit the needs of different people with different dementias at different stages.
